School and Group Trips
Group Mini-Raft Hire
We can cater for large groups on our mini-raft self hire which runs from Coalport to Bridgnorth. Times can be tailored to your group, with prices dependent on group numbers. Each mini-raft holds up to 5 people.
We welcome children from age 4 and above with a minimum of 2 adults in each mini-raft.
The 7 mile trip takes approximately 2½-3½ hours to paddle taking you through the scenic Shropshire countryside.
Pre-booking is essential so please contact us well in advance of your chosen date to discuss your requirements.
Group Canoe & Kayak Hire
Our group canoe and kayak hire runs from Coalport to Bridgnorth on a 7 mile run.
We welcome children from age 4 and above.
The trip takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to paddle but we allow you up to 4 hours.
Prices are dependent on numbers so please contact us direct well in advance of your chosen date to discuss your requirements.
School Groups
With our guided group trips an experienced 4 star inland waterway guide will lead your group on an unforgettable river trip through the Shropshire countryside in our mini-rafts on a 7 mile course.
Taking between 3 to 3½ hours to paddle we also require a number of teachers to participate and help paddle the mini-rafts. Trip times can be tailored to your group so please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Prices are dependent on group numbers.
These trips do not run in the summer holidays.

Fantastic day – 60 of us rafting down the Severn
60 of us (families with children) from Bridgnorth Rugby Club Under 10s Team attended an organised trip with Shropshire Raft Tours in June. We decided to go with this company as they allow younger children in the rafts than we would have been able to have in canoes. They were fantastically organised to deal with in the run up to the trip, giving helpful advice and suggestions and they really know the River. When we all descended on the day, they efficiently togged everyone up in buoyancy aids at the riverside. The kit was spotless and exceptionally maintained. The induction on how to use the river was very clear and we were all given a waterproof card to take with us with the information on just in case. I cannot recommend Shropshire Raft hire enough, SUPERB!
