Mini Raft Hire

Find out more about the services we offer below.

If you are looking for a fun filled adventure under your own steam then this is the activity for you. Our mini 10ft rafts fit between 3-5 people and are modelled on our largest rafts in the UK. You can hire these just like you would a canoe or kayak on our full day river Severn Atcham to Ironbridge route finishing by our Little Green Kiosk in the Wharfage car park (TF8 7NH).

These are great for corporate trips, friends and families or a good old stag or hen do.

You have an all day experience paddling through the beautiful Shropshire countryside so remember to pack your food and soft drinks for the day. We will provide you with a large dry bag to store your belongings.

River Raft Tours

You can park for the full day in Dale End pay and display car park (TF8 7BS) and we are then a 2 minute walk to the Wharfage car park (TF8 7NH) where we meet at 8.45am at our Little Green Kiosk. If you are running late please call us. As we may have other customers waiting to be transported to Atcham, if you arrive late, we cannot guarantee that your trip will go ahead. We then fit you with a buoyancy aid, paddle and dry bag and finish off the paperwork stating you have paddled before. After a short safety briefing, there is a 15 minute trip in our minibus to Atcham where you are on the water for your full day on the river Severn. Take in the gorgeous scenery along the way and enjoy the beautiful wildlife of the kingfishers, wagtails, swans and deer to experience an idyllic trip returning to Ironbridge by the latest at 4pm-4.30pm. There are plenty of pebble beaches along the way as you pass by Cressage and Buildwas on your 14.8 mile trip so make sure you pack plenty of sandwiches and soft drinks.

(Half distance route - 7.5 miles)

If the thought of 15 miles from Atcham to Ironbridge seems too far, you can try our half distance route at 7.5 miles.   Meeting at 9.45am at our Little Green Kiosk we will transport you and your group to the start point with all the equipment.  You then have the full day to paddle back to Ironbridge, stopping along the way for a picnic lunch.  As the mini-raft is booked out for your group for the full day, the price is the same as the Atcham to Ironbridge (15 miles) route but you are able to paddle at a more leisurely pace and take your time.  This route is ideal for families with younger children.

When booking online please specify in the notes if you would like to paddle the half distance route.
