We had a fab visit over at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Shropshire on a very cold snowy day. After being greeted by Sarah Dainty (Head of Commercial, Serco Leisure) we discussed a partnership providing river activities for corporate team building and leisure guests to include canoeing, kayaking, rafting and supping on the river Severn in Ironbridge, the heart of the World Heritage Site. We look forward to working with them and welcoming their guests.

With corporate groups we can tailor trip times and activities starting up river or down river from the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge depending on the paddle skill level of each group and can provide a bespoke river trip. We have 3 routes of river above the Jackfield rapids and 1 route of river down to Bridgnorth. You can paddle this in 2 or 3 person canoes or 2 to 5 person mini-rafts (10ft long whitewater raft).

We welcomed Bridgnorth Rugby Club on our Jackfield to Bridgnorth trip and found them very competitive in their times against each other in the 10 mini rafts. Numerous scout groups have also ventured our way over the last year with interest in the mini-raft trip from Cressage to Ironbridge.

If you want something a bit left field then think about hiring a sup, sorry MEGA SUP! These giant sup boards will hold up to 8 people on one stand up paddle board and are fun for families and friends (children can participate from 10 years and above). Our latest edition is our new coracles for hire to couples up to a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 10 years). This is an out and back course paddling upstream to the New Bridge and beyond adjacent to the Bedlam furnaces and then back to the start in Jackfield.

All the Cressage and Atcham hire finishes 30 seconds walk to the Black Swan Pub which is a bonus so you can enjoy a pint after your trip plus good pub grub overlooking the Jackfield rapids.
